Maynard Dixon Home and Studio Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts For over fifty years, Maynard Dixon painted the life and landscape of the American west. In paintings, murals, drawings and illustrations, he epitomized the beauty and grandeur of its deserts, mountains, canyons and valleys. Dixon is a world renowned artist who mastered the Southwest. His beautiful home and studio are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Docent Tours $20 per person, self guided tours $10 Lunch is available for an additional $5 Call for appointment
